Hello all,

This weekend we decided to get a little change in the scenery by visiting Marangu, an awesome town at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro!  We stayed at the beautiful Babylon Lodge which was nearby some pretty awesome sites.  We decided to kick off our weekend festivities with some karaoke, dancing, and even a little game of pool.

Saturday was an adventure packed day that included a visit to the Chagga Museum as well as hike down to an amazing waterfall and a chance to swim in a beautiful, but freezing, natural pool. On our way back to Maji Moto today we stopped for some Indian and Italian cuisine and some souvenir shopping in Moshi, a cute little town smack dab in the middle of our drive.  All in all, it was a pretty epic way to spend the weekend.
